Revolution against the military


The newspaper "Washington Post" of America that the clashes between police and protesters in Tahrir Square has raised calls for a new revolution against the military junta accused of trying to playing the role of former President Hosni Mubarak.

The newspaper said that the clashes that occurred in the editing between police and protesters that lasted for hours and left more than 750 injured, prompted some to call for a new revolution against the military leaders who accused activists of reneging on their promises to hand over power to a civilian government.

She added that the clashes, police said Saturday with the most violent of all days during the revolution of 18 days, and came nine days before parliamentary elections, which cast doubt on whether the country's leaders are able to oversee the smooth transition to civilian rule or not.

The newspaper quoted Hossam Bahgat, a prominent activist in the field of human rights as saying: "These clashes a big leap into the abyss." The newspaper pointed out that the clashes started when police moved in to demolish the tents demonstrators developed in the field after a huge demonstration last Friday, said one of the protesters: "They (police) they removed the tents, blankets and beat us with sticks," he said, "Now the revolution is back."
